In Bhopal, a man killed his wife and hid her body within a fort in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh. The victim, Shivangi - wife of Rishiraj Singh, was discovered dead inside Dhamoni fort four days after she went missing. This revelation came after the police launched a search in response to a missing persons report filed by her family. The police suspected Rishiraj Singh's involvement in the crime. Upon questioning, he confessed to strangling his wife and concealing her body in the fort. According to official reports, Shivangi and Rishiraj had visited Dhamoni fort on September 13. While Rishiraj returned home, Shivangi did not, prompting her family to report her disappearance to Madavara police. The investigation led authorities to Rishiraj, who eventually admitted to the murder. He disclosed that he was romantically involved with another woman and that jealousy motivated his actions. Rishiraj was taken into custody and is currently detained. The police are continuing their inquiry and are gathering additional evidence.
